Peter I. Grasis is a shareholder at Rathbun & Goldberg, P.C., and has 20 years of experience in representing clients in construction and real estate litigation. Peter’s construction law experience includes representing owners, lenders, general contractors, and sub-contractors in multi-faceted litigation over both public and private projects, and includes mechanic’s liens and payment bond claims. Peter has also lectured on construction law topics to industry leaders and lawyers.
In addition, Peter has a broad range of experience in real estate and title litigation, including fraud and forgery cases, Affordable Dwelling Unit (ADU) claims, adverse possession claims, unreleased deeds of trust issues, easement, and the reformation or correction of defective deeds of trust. Peter also has defended lenders, servicers, and trustees in foreclosure related litigation. Peter also has developed experience in niche areas, such as defending against the foreclosure of the rights of redemption in the District of Columbia’s tax sale litigation docket.
