Flat-Fee Uncontested Divorce:
A Simple, Cost-effective Solution.
For enhanced convenience and cost-efficiency, Kales & Kales, PLC provides a Flat-fee Uncontested Divorce service.
Kales & Kales, PLC defines an uncontested divorce as one where there are
no unresolved issues between the parties. In other words, the parties have
reached agreement on all relevant issues, including, without limitation,
property division, child support, child custody and visitation, and spousal
support.
For a $1,000.00 flat-fee, Kales & Kales, PLC will represent you in an uncontested
divorce. In cases involving the division of retirement benefits/assets the
flat-fee is $1,500.00, due to the need to draft and file applicable retirement
order(s).This flat-fee includes all fees and expenses related to your divorce
from beginning to end, including:
- representation by a licensed virginia attorney,
- the preparation of a Marital Settlement Agreement,
- the filing of a Complaint,
- the execution of a divorce deposition,
- and the preparation of a Final Decree.
Generally, cases will be filed in Fairfax County Circuit Court, regardless of the county in which you live.

This questionnaire may be downloaded from the bottom this page or may be
e-mailed or faxed to you upon request. Upon our receipt and review of your
completed questionnaire, you will be contacted by one of our attorneys, who
will discuss the possibility and terms of representation with you.
Please note, Kales & Kales, PLC will not represent a party for the $1,000.00
or $1,500.00 flat-fee in cases requiring negotiation or litigation. In cases
involving negotiation and/or litigation, our standard hourly rates will apply.
The attorneys of Kales & Kales, PLC, alone, will determine if a potential
client’s case falls into the uncontested divorce category. Representation
commences with the entry of a Representation Agreement by both the client
and Kales & Kales, PLC and our receipt of the $1,000.00 or $1,500.00 flat-fee.
